KNOT THINKING
Meet the Maker
Greetings all,
Welcome to my store where knot thinking is allowed. Now I have to admit that I am not the first one to knot think. This idea would most likely go back to the very first of mankind. If an individual wanted something to stay put or stay in place, chances are a knot did the job. Think about all the things made with knots. From clothing to upholstery and rugs to teddy bears. So much of life is dependent on a knot. So, in my own little way I am adding to a very long tradition of making a knot with a purpose.
One little idea started.
So like most people these days I picked a small corner in my basement and began constructing an idea that will hopefully, some day, pay a few bills. As I sat there contemplating my place if life and on what could I offer of any value. The first of the thought process was, "What can't I do?" Well, power tools where out, due to noise ordinances. Paints and resins were out, what with the smells and spills. Then an old memory came back from my days in school. Paracord, we had bracelets to necklaces and belts. All sorts of things we came up with. My brain simply said, what are you thinking?" My reply was, "I'm knot thinking."
About me.
Not much to tell. I'm an old man in coveralls. I had it explained to me this way once, I have a face for radio and a voice for newsprint. After that life goes on.
What I do.
I personally have put my best efforts into a hand tied collection where each piece is one of a kind and never to be made again. Striving for quality things form string that will appeal to individuals looking for something no one else has. For a stand out and unique memory, appealing to that little bit of fun that we all need in our lives.
Hopefully you will join me and claim your piece of a memory that helps you to keep smiling.
Sincerely,
David M.

How it’s Made
A simple, but elegant combination of paracord and well placed beads. Thanks to a few old sailor knots.

FAQ's:
1- Why can't I return the keychain?
Due to possible cleanliness issues that can arise with a key chain, it is just not sound business. No one wants a keychain that has sat in someones purse or pocket. The germ level alone is inconceivable.
2- What if the product arrives broken or ruined?
I will work with the customer on a case by case basis. These items are one of a kind and replacements can be tricky at best. First a claim must be made with the shipment provider and then refunds can be arranged.
